🎨 Islamic Art Class

​Fee: $100
Ages: 9 - 14
Saturday's from 11:30am - 12:00pm
This will be a 30 minute class for 10 weeks during school hours at break time.

MCGP would like to introduce you to our exciting new islamic art class for the upcoming school year. Tailored for 5th to 6th graders, where creativity meets spiritual exploration. In this unique course, young Muslim artists will begin their journey in blending artistic expression with Islamic teachings. Through engaging art projects and hands-on activities, students will not only enhance their artistic skills but also deepen their understanding of Islamic concepts and sculpt out their own inner style and creativity. Join us every Saturday as we ignite imagination, foster cultural appreciation, connect our history with art, and nurture a deeper connection to faith through the captivating world of art.

🏓 Ping Pong Class

Ages: 9 - 14
Saturday's from 11:30am - 12:00pm
This will be a 30 minute class for 10 weeks during school hours at break time.

Join our Ping Pong class designed to teach students the fundamentals of the game, from basic techniques to intermediate skills. Our experienced instructors will guide participants through fun and engaging lessons, helping them develop their hand-eye coordination, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your game, this class offers a great opportunity to learn and enjoy Ping Pong!

🤖 STEM (Coding) Class

​Fee: $125
Ages: 7 - 14
Saturday's from 11:30am - 12:00pm
This will be a 30 minute class for 10 weeks during school hours at break time.

Students are required to bring their own laptops, no tablets.

Coding Fundamentals - Level 1
This course is targeted for students with no familiarity with programming. The only requirement is that they must be able to read independently and use computer/laptop. In this course, students will learn the basics of programming including:
   •    Objects
   •    Loops
   •    Variables
   •    Arrays
   •    Indexing
Over the course of 10 weeks, they’ll join other students in a live classroom as they learn to think algorithmically and develop good programming habits. Ideal for grades 1 through 5 (or even later if they’ve never been exposed to code).
Prerequisite: Ability to read independently and use computer/laptop

Coding Fundamentals - Level 2
This course is targeted to students with some familiarity of programming fundamentals (concepts covered in Level 1). In this level, students will work with our instructors to cover advanced logic including:
   •    Functions
   •    Boolean logic
   •    If/Else conditionals
   •    Program Composition
In this 10-week course, students will also learn how to talk better about programming concepts and explain them to others. Ideal for grades 3 through 8 (or even younger if they’ve gone through Level 1).
Prerequisite: Successful completion of level 1
